Panel Names 12 Nominees to Replace Judges

The 10th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission on Wednesday recommended 12 of 32 applicants to fill two vacant positions on the county court.
The group nominated J. Kevin Abdoney, John K. Aguero, David R. Carmichael, Susan B. Flood, Howardene Garrett, Mark Hofstad, Reinaldo J. Ojeda, William J. Lobb, Ryan C. Rodems, Sheryl D. Snodgrass, Anthony J. Stevens and Ronald N. Toward.
Two vacancies on the bench were left open when judges Angela Cowden and Michael E. Raiden were named to the circuit bench.
The names will be sent to Gov. Charlie Crist, who will appoint the new judges.
