Hurricane SeminarSet for Saturday

A hurricane preparedness seminar will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Presbyterian Church in the Highlands, 1010 Lake Miriam Drive.

A presentation on home preparedness as well as generator safety will be at 9 and 11 a.m. Personnel and displays from a variety of vendors including home improvement businesses, the Lakeland Police Department, Polk County Sheriff's Office, and Polk County Emergency Operations will be on hand.
