Combee to Head Swiftmud Board

Neil Combee of Lakeland was selected Tuesday to be the chairman of the Southwest Florida Water Management District governing board.

Combee, 48, a Polk County commissioner from 1988 to 2004, was elected unanimously by the other members of the governing board.
He was appointed to serve on Swiftmud's governing board in 2005.
The board elected Todd Pressman of Oldsmar to be vice chair, Jennifer Closshey of Plant City to be secretary and Ronald Oakley of Zephyrhills as treasurer.
