TALLAHASSEE | North Carolina State's Eric Surkamp gave up three hits over 5 2/3 innings and the Wolfpack bullpen pitched 3 1/3 innings of no-hit ball to give them a 12-2 victory over Florida State on Thursday night.
The Wolfpack busted open a one-run game in the seventh with four runs and tacked on five more in the top of the ninth to close the door on any Florida State rally.
Winter Haven's Dennis Guinn went 0-for-4 on the night for Florida State (44-9). Tyler Holt and Jason Stidham scored the Seminoles' only runs.
