MIAMI | Chris Hernandez stayed perfect on the regular season and Yonder Alonso hit a grand slam in the third inning to spark the Hurricanes' 12-2 victory over North Carolina on Thursday night.

Miami (43-6, 23-3 Atlantic Coast Conference) also got a home run from Dave DiNatale and two RBI from Jemile Weeks.
