ESPN Joining Wide World of Sports

LAKE BUENA VISTA | Walt Disney World Resort is incorporating another component into its popular Wide World of Sports complex - ESPN.

Plans are in the works to add the ESPN brand to the sprawling 220-acre facility's name and increase the network's presence throughout one of the nation's leading venues for amateur and professional sports.

ESPN made the announcement Tuesday to advertisers and sponsors. Plans remain in the developmental stage, however a new name figures to be among the changes.
