Janet Wizda will be the new principal at Scott Lake Elementary School in Lakeland, effective July 1. Wizda was appointed as acting principal at Scott Lake in January. She began her career with Polk County schools as a paraprofessional in 1973 at Medulla Elementary in Lakeland and. Her salary will be $79,379.
Deron Williams is the new principal at Caldwell Elementary School in Auburndale, effective July 1. Williams began his career with Polk County Schools in 1996 as a teacher at Purcell Elementary in Mulberry. He has served as acting principal at Caldwell since October. His salary will be $79,379.
Cheryl Rutenbar will be the new principal at Lena Vista Elementary in Auburndale, effective Jan. 1, 2009. Rutenbar began her career with Polk County in 1984 as a teacher at Eagle Lake Elementary. In January, Rutenbar served as the acting principal of Socrum Elementary. Her salary will be $79,379
