Dewey and Cheryl Pollock of Lakeland announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah, to Chad Whitaker of Lakeland, son of Dick Whitaker of Lakeland and Debbie Frazier of Panama City Beach.
Pollock graduated from Lake Gibson High School and will graduate from the University of South Florida in December. She is employed by the Polk County School Board. Whitaker graduated from Lake Gibson High School and is employed by the Lakeland Police Department.
A Jan. 24 wedding at All Saints' Episcopal Church is planned.
