Bob and Mary Leverette of Spartanburg, S.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly Joy of Lakeland, to Damian Angel Cruz of Lakeland, son of Hector and Nidia Cruz of Winter Haven.

Leverette graduated from the University of South Carolina Upstate and is employed by the Polk County School Board. Cruz graduated from Southeastern University and is also employed by the Polk County School Board.

A June 14 wedding at Victory Church in Lakeland is planned.
