John and Carole Floyd of Lakeland celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on a cruise to the eastern Caribbean. A family party is planned for June. They were married April 12, 1958, at First Methodist Church in Sylvania, Ohio.
Their children are Beth Huntzinger of Mulberry, Joan Phillips of Lakeland and John Floyd Jr. of Hoover, Ala. They have six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
John Floyd retired from Dana Corp., headquartered in Toledo, Ohio.
