I CAN ONLY HOPE THESE TEENAGERS ARE CHARGED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW - PROBATION WOULD NOT BE ACCEPTABLE. PART OF THE REASON THESE INCIDENTS HAVE ESCALATED IS THAT THE PUNISHMENT IS NOT EXTREME ENOUGH.

I feel that these girls deserve to get the toughest punishment possible, for the simple reason that these girls were cowards.. If she did everything that they said she did (sleep with their boyfriend(s) and talk trash on the internet) and they felt that they needed to fight her then they could have confronted her one on one not 6 on 1..that is not right... I feel the girls deserve to do the time for the crime that they have committed....

It all started at about 9:00 pm and lasted for about 3 hours. 30 years and 10 days to the hour, before this beating being discussed here today took place, I was kidnapped, taken to a shooting range several miles out of town where I was beaten severely, and my life threatened. Then I was humuliated further by being shown to others the damage that had been done to me. After being "shown off" around town, again I was driven to a far away place in the country, where I was raped and sodomized. The three females that beat me, were my "friends", two of which I 'thought' were my best friends. The male (a 17 yr old stranger, to me) that raped and sodomized me did so at the request of my 'friends', while they watched. Not only had they planned this attack, they had also told other friends of the plan several weeks earlier. It took me 27 years of my adult life to learn how much this effected my mind. After the night of the trauma, and the statements and court proceedings were over, all I wanted to do was put it out of my mind and move on with my life. I did not hate them (none of them) and I did not want revenge. They were be punished by the authorities and I just wanted to forget about it. I had met people that had been traumatized who wore the effects of the trauma like clothing, on their faces and in their presonality. I was so determind not to be like that, not to LET what they did to me change the person I was and wanted to become. I believed that I was untouched by this dreadful act of hatred. Even though I remembered every detail for years, I honestly thought the behavioral problems that developed in me over the years for which I suffered were not as a result of this trauma. 27 years afterward I would finally be diagnosed by a Doctor with PTSD and DID (previously called multiple personality dissorder) as a result of this severe beating and rape. Now after 30 years, I am in therapy once a week with the hope that some day I will be able to lead a life as one whole person! When my therapist told me about this recent case I could not believe what I was hearing. The thought of having what happened to me on a video like this case, was more than I could bare to think about. I was barely 14 when this happened to me. I had no way of knowing the impact it would have on my life. I pray that the 16 year old girl who was beated will get the help she needs....NOW to that

Patt, be nice.....she's brand spankin new and she's actually illustrated from a survivor's point of view, the importance of this gang of kids being punished for what they did.

No I have been 'purging' the effects of my pain with my theripist and the people that know and love me, "in private". This post was for the benefit of others. I guess I assumed that I was not going to be made fun of or given a bad time for my post.
